Comment: Never thought how self-esteem and spirituality go hand-in-hand. Can't get a hold on "loving yourself", you can see it in a new perspective of having a healthy, highly developed sense of self-esteem. Have had SEVERAL "AHA!" moments listening to it. HIT HOME for me. Caroline speaks directly to you and tells it how it is without being condescending, hurtful. She is firm but kind (which can be very difficult to do). Be blessed!

Summary: dynamic and interesting, but no value
Comment: I saw a lot of positive reviews and decided to give this set of CD's a shot. I was very optimistic and listened to all four of them feeling like it was going to make a big difference in my life. But no. As I got to the fourth CD, I could tell that the so-called "excercises" were unconnected and there was no evaluation of your results. She would go rambling along in her entertaining style, and say something like, "take out a piece of paper and make a list of all the...". This list would never be referred to again.

Over and over, she gives interesting examples of self-esteem and shows us the irony in how we act. She is great to listen to. But if you want some real change in the self-esteem that you possess, this set of CD's is NOT for you. If you are truly looking to improve your self-esteem, check out books by Marilyn Sorenson or Tim Ursiny.

Also, as I was listening, it occurred to me that if she had to actually make a written book out of this stuff, it would be a disaster. She would have to organize her ideas (and this thing is NOT organized), and present them in a concise manner. The result most likely would not be much more than 50 pages! Which explains why so much of her stuff is strictly on CD. You can't sell 50 page books.

Summary: Raw and honest. An effective tool for improving self-esteem.
Comment: I've spent several months with this very engaging 4-CD set and offer five stars for its capacity to help one heal from acute self-esteem issues.

After listening to it the first time, I went through a depression for about a week. Caroline's shameless sharing of her own experiences and her in-depth discussion about intuition and self-esteem stirred the murky waters of my own subconscious.

I've practiced the meditation exercise on the third CD a few times--and more will follow. It's an innovative technique where the listener visualizes him/herself as becoming a giant in a situation with another person while creating a psychic crystal to protect both the listener and the other person from each other's negative energy. I have found this technique sooths my nerves in the most difficult circumstances while helping me to let go of any resentments toward the subject of my meditation.

I listened to the entire set again recently and realized how much my healing has progressed.

Caroline's dry humor prevails even while she takes this lesson very seriously. While recorded in front of a studio audience, Sounds True eliminates audio from the spectators. Often times, we forget Caroline is speaking in front of a crowd, resulting in a quietness that makes the message more hard-hitting. It took some getting used to at first but doesn't take away from Caroline's enigmatic and entertaining presentation style.

I highly recommend this CD to people who feel trapped by societal or familial pressures as well as those who have a strong sense of what's right for them (whether it's leaving a high-paying job or exiting a relationship) but are too afraid to act.

Summary: Self Esteem=Self Empowerment!
Comment: This work is a true "Diamond in the rough"..Caroline is right on about self esteem,it is our core power!If you want to change your life and take control of your life rather than allowing others to do it for you than get this incredibly awesome self help CD set.After listening to this program my young daughters(upon hearing it while I was listening) asked to borrow it and out of the mouths of babe~~This is a program that should be required in schools!
Your life will not change overnight,you must do the work upon recognizing patterns...but,It's so easy to do and Very Empowering!

A must have...I highly recommend this program to all.Very satisfied here.Thank you Caroline.

Summary: Truly Helpful
Comment: "Self Esteem" has real potential to guide and teach anyone who is interested in improving their self esteem and potentially improving their lives generally. This should be taught to every teenager on the planet. It does require you to be very honest with yourself and even make a couple of minor adjustments to your physical life, nothing impossible though. I think this CD and with the support of prayer anyone could improve their lives. I really do wish this kind of knowledge was available in schools, maybe one day.
