Editorial Review:
Famed Charles Manson prosecutor and three time #1 New York Times bestselling author Vincent Bugliosi has written the most powerful, explosive, and thought-provoking book of his storied career.
In The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, Bugliosi presents a tight, meticulously researched legal case that puts George W. Bush on trial in an American courtroom for the murder of nearly 4,000 American soldiers fighting the war in Iraq. Bugliosi sets forth the legal architecture and incontrovertible evidence that President Bush took this nation to war in Iraq under false pretenses—a war that has not only caused the deaths of American soldiers but also over 100,000 innocent Iraqi men, women, and children; cost the United States over one trillion dollars thus far with no end in sight; and alienated many American allies in the Western world.
As a prosecutor who is dedicated to seeking justice, Bugliosi, in his inimitable style, delivers a non-partisan argument, free from party lines and instead based upon hard facts and pure objectivity.
A searing indictment of the President and his administration, The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder also outlines a legally credible pathway to holding our highest government officials accountable for their actions, thereby creating a framework for future occupants of the oval office.
Vincent Bugliosi calls for the United States of America to return to the great nation it once was and can be again. He believes the first step to achieving this goal is to bring those responsible for the war in Iraq to justice.
Customer Reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful and Frightening Comment: In spite of the author's outstanding achievements and great evidentiary credibility, I am afraid the "Walking Dead" will stay dead. Customer Rating: Summary: Tremendous, patriotic, unsettling Comment: This is the SINGLE BEST BOOK I have read in the last 10 years (the other contender is "Was The 2004 Election Stolen?" by Professor Steve Freeman and Joel Bleifuss), and every thinking, caring American owes it to themselves to read it. Vincent Bugliosi is a patriot of the highest order, and this book is a first-rate work of logic, reason, and integrity. Pay no attention to those reviewers who are panning this book--it's interesting to note that they never take on any of Bugliosi's arguments head-on (because they can't), but rather resort to name-calling and slander. Please do not miss reading this masterpiece. Customer Rating: Summary: A really harsh, but fact based conclusion Comment: I think more people should read this book to realize how we, the people of the US were taken for a ride. The book also addresses the extent of the failure by our media to investigate and challenge the administration. The last section of the book presents a sobering view of the decline of the US. Customer Rating: Summary: There truly is Hope Comment: I enjoyed this book so very much because it gave me hope that George W. Bush will pay for what he has done to our great country. Mr. Bugliosi's brilliant legal mind has made it easy for an Attorney General or District Attorney somewhere in America to prosecute George W. Bush for murder. The book is written extremely well for non-legal minds to enjoy and to understand and best of all, to hope. Customer Rating: Summary: Bugliosi Hits a Homerun Comment: This book is a must-read for American citizens. President Bush and Vice President did not have faulty intelligence in the run up to the War in Iraq. They manipulated the intelligence to fit their plans to invade Iraq and deserve to be brought up on charges of murder.
