Customer Reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Great organizer Comment: I have owned so many organizers... hard to get all you need, especially if you still like a "clean" look.
Really like this one-- organizer, To Do, Grocery List... makes it easy to get it all in one glance.
Only negative--- The quotes, in my opinion, are lame. I want quotes that are real motivational quotes like, "Never forget-- the higher we soar the smaller we appear tothose who cannot fly." or "here are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." Not the best, but more on "inspiration."
I am finding these quotes to be a little trite and shallow so far - "There are three ways to get something done: do it yourself, employ someone, or forbid your children to do it." or "It's amazing how quickly the kids learn to drive a car, yet are unable to understand the lawnmoer, snowblower, or vacuum cleaner." --- It is billed as inspirational quotes, not base-level parenting advice. Customer Rating: Summary: Great but another choice? Comment: I like this organizing calendar a lot. I use it daily and LOVE the quotes. I like the stickers, tear away lists, address section (it would be nice if these were perforated),.... By big complaint is that it doesn't come as a year by year option. By using subsequent calendars much of the summer and fall is waisted. Customer Rating: Summary: A great product Comment: This is my 2nd year using this organizer, and I love it! We are a family of 6 and it can be so confusing and stressful trying to keep up with everything we all have to do, and this organizer easily solves that problem. I use paperclips to mark the calendars for the months and write all our appointments, dance classes, cheer classes, and even the days that the trash and recycling go to the curb. (where we live the trash gets picked up one week and the recycling the next so that can get confusing if you cannot remember which bin you rolled out last week HAHA)
I love this organizer and will continue to buy it in the future. Customer Rating: Summary: Totally organized for 2006! Comment: I have purchased Amy Knapp's organizer for the past several years and find it an inexpensive tool that helps keep me on track.
The spiral bound book starts with the August 2005 and runs through December 2006. Includes a weekly day by day calender and a month at a glance calender. Also includes a handy tear off sheet to list groceries with menus on the opposite site.
The back of the book has spaces to list names and addresses, stickers for birthday and other reminders and a place to write information for the babysitter.
I use the book to notate my workouts and calories also jot down "to do's" in the space given (which is next to each week).
The one draw back is the lack of date tabs to quickly flip to the month. I picked up a set of tabs at an office supply store and transfer them from one year to the next.
Overall great calender. Super for keeping me organized!
Customer Rating: Summary: Fantastic organizer, shop around Comment: I really like the set-up, with meal planning and grocery lists. It really is an organizer made for families rather than for business/work.
However, I highly recommend shopping around. I got mine, as soon as it was released, at a local big-box retailer for one-third off the list price.
