Anyone looking for the key to Abba's enduring appeal should look no further than "Voulez Vous" and "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" for their answer. There was an innocence to the Swedish quartet, even when they were singing about one-night stands and the invitations to them. Gold establishes that the band, while appreciated as campy, were actually multifaceted in their execution. "S.O.S." has a raw urgency in its chorus, and "Does Your Mother Know" draws its energy from classic '50s rock & roll. Likewise, you don't have to be Priscilla to swoon over "Mamma Mia" or "Dancing Queen." And when it comes to drama, those soaring vocals on "The Winner Takes It All" turn the song into a bitter anthem of every relationship that has ever fallen apart. Summary: Some Of The Best Pop Music Of All Time
Comment: ABBA's Gold: Greatest Hits is essential for anyone who loves pop music. This is pop music at its best. It has all of ABBA's most loved hits. Yes there are a few singles missing but these are the ones that we want and remember.

The album is perfect and one of the best Greatest Hits ever released. It starts with Dancing Queen, their signature song, that everyone loves and keeps coming back to. Still their best song and one of the best of all time. Actually... maybe the best pop song of all time? Some other highlights are the catchy Take A Chance On Me, Mamma Mia, the personal Super Trouper, S.O.S., their first hit Waterloo, Fernando, and so many more!

If you don't own this make sure to pick it up.

Summary: The best pop album around but it's just for pop lovers
Comment: If your into pop, catchy, sing-a-long tunes (Dancing Queen for example). This will be brilliant for you. Also some nice well written not so sing-a-long tunes (Fernando for example) which are brilliant. This is one of the best pop acts in the world as you probably know so if your into that this is a must buy.
