Comment: While the discs look good and play well and the price was very reasonable, the outer cover on this collector's edition is very torn and looks awful. It affects the function of the binding on the nice outer cover wrapping. This was not advertised in item and if it had been, I would not have purchased.

Summary: Finally a Dolby Digital 5.1 Soundtrack!!
Comment: Thank you Fox, finally a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. Fox did a great job remastering picture & sound. If you have one of the old 2.0 disks. Throw them out & pick up this two disk treasure. For an added bonus, pick up Standing in the Shadows of Motown..It will be a night of Classic R & B you will remember!!!!

Comment: The Commitments should be a standard for all story musicals. The stars are unknowns who were local entertainers in Dublin. They have superb talent both in acting and singing and deftly tell the story of a newly formed rock band trying to succeed.

You will want to buy the sound track after seeing the movie.
