Editorial Review:
Brooklyn artist Jimmy Lynch (OscarĀ®-winner Timothy Hutton) idolizes his older brother Terry (Robert Urich), a New York City fireman who's severely injured during a brave off-duty rescue. But when the arrogant Mayor Tyler publicly denies Terry his pension, Jimmy begins blitzing Manhattan with a series of bold graffiti attacks signed with his brother's nickname and badge number. Now with the work and entire city watches, he'll attempt to take on one of as the rebel hero known only as TURK 182.

Customer Rating: Summary: Awesome Comment: For the movie being as old as it is it still packs a punch a very moving tail how is you really want something then fight for it and things will work out for the best. Customer Rating: Summary: where is it ? Comment: movie should have explained that turkish people are so brave n feels never fear of notin but its just a name to the movie n thats a shame Customer Rating: Summary: Long awaited Comment: I've waited for years for this one to appear on DVD. I love the movie when it came out, and it's impact is no less today. Hokey, funny and moving all at the same time. Customer Rating: Summary: Another Hidden Gem From Anchor Bay... Comment: Long out of print on VHS, "Turk 182" was a most sought after tape. Its great to see it available again, especially in Widescreen. Tim Hutton is really convincing as a fella who idolizes his older fireman brother. This movie holds more magic today, mainly because of 9/11. This movie has wit, charm, class and enough joy to outlast any chick flick. Yeah, it's a chick flick for guys! Directed by Bob Clark, who also made "Porky's," but don't hold that against this film. A great family film. Customer Rating: Summary: Cannot get worse than this! Comment: This movie stunk on ice! In the list of all the movies, plays, novels, poems, etc. ever made this one falls at the very bottom! "Waterworld" would be one slot above it.
