Comment: I've used mine this whole summer and it is holding up just fine. A prior review mentions that the line does not stay taught. I experienced the same until I re-read the directions and now I have no problems.

Comment: Purchased two. Hung both. Used once. Went to use them again in two weeks and spings on both had failed, even though fully retracted.
I do not recommend this product.

Comment: We purchased this clothesline for a space under 40 feet. When the line is out for any length under 40 feet it is not taut, so when you put the clothes on it it falls to the ground. We are returning this clothesline.

Summary: Sturdy product, quite large
Comment: This is the sturdiest clothesline we've ever purchased. The line is thick and strong, the tension holds (rather than droops, like some other clotheslines) and is easy to put away. It is, however, quite large. We live in an apartment, so it is quite visible on our 12-ft balcony. A better fit for a larger, outdoor space, I think. But still works great in a smaller space.
