The Auto Wrench is not meant to replace specialty tools like pipe or torque wrenches, but the jaws open wide enough (up to 1-1/4-inch) so that it could conceivably replace a range of manual wrenches sitting in your toolkit. This is an ideal product for someone looking to buy a wrench that’s both easy to use and versatile. At 8-inches, you could toss it in the silverware drawer and whip it out when you need it.

The area where this wrench really shines is in hard-to-reach spots where mobility is obscured, such as under sinks. A typical situation where the Auto Wrench would help might be one in which you’re awkwardly reaching for a nut underneath the kitchen faucet. Comment: It's a handy little wrench, with just a few drawbacks.

What I liked:
Quick and easy adjustments
Nice grip

What I didn't like:
Philips screwdriver required to replace batteries
No "hold" button to keep the tool from accidentally powering on

I'd give it 5 stars if at least one of the cons were fixed. I wouldn't need to replace the batteries that much if it didn't accidentally power on, and it wouldn't be such a pain to replace the batteries that often if it wasn't for the screw.

Comment: I've been through 3 of these already. At first it seems great, especially on one handed jobs.It has come in very handy with jobs that require two wrenches. It eventually will break. The motor will become too week. Black & Decker is however very quick to send a replacement.If they can make this tool's motor stronger, then it would be a great one to own.It's defiantly not meant to be an every day tool.
