Summary: Great table for what I need.
Comment: I give it 4 stars for price, it's a bit more than what I'd pay. I don't know what they were thinking when they say this table will support up to 50lbs. I would avoid putting anything more than 10lbs (evenly across the table) on it if you want the thing to last. However beside those, I think it's a great table and was exactly what I am looking for.

Comment: I purchased this table while on maternity leave. I spent endless hours nursing my baby girl in the sofa and needed a small table within easy reach for snacks, drinks, remote controls and to place the laptop for online surfing. I ordered the table and it worked perfectly!! My husband liked it so much and he made me order one for him too. Now we both can sit in the living room and surf the net, play music to our new baby from our laptops and have all the stuff we need to entertain her within easy reach. The table is light weight and sturdy enough to hold everything I need plus the occasional cat that wants to sit on it too. I gave it four stars only because of price, I wish it was cheaper!

Comment: Nicely finished and designed table. Provides options for changing the incline of the flat surface as well as for different heights. I am able to use this with a large couch even when I am leaning back. Also am using the lowest height setting, this means that it will work for tall people as well quite easily. I like the way it slides smoothly over smooth carpet due the metal legs. Overall, great product and very useful for working on my laptop and being with family in the living room as I watch television or for eating. Easy assembly.

Summary: Convenient To Use But The Top Warps Easily
Comment: The top is all plastic and even though it's rated to hold up to 50 lbs., you'll notice it sags in the middle with as little as a 7 pound laptop on it (that's what I use it for).

I'd give it 5 stars for convenience if it weren't for this and the fact that the TableMate website has NO contact telephone number - and does NOT respond to e-mails inquiring about a replacement top - it's supposed to have a lifetime warranty against breakage, bending, etc.

Mine has developed a permanent warp to the point that my mouse won't even lay flat. A steel shim molded into the top's perimeter lip would have made for a much more rigid design.
