Repositionable toys include a soft hanging monkey, a soft toucan with jingle, an elephant with soft ears and a spinner with beads, a parrot with a paddle spinner and a frog character mirror. Two satin butterflies fly around above baby as colored lights pulse on and off while music plays. The large mat has a quilted rainforest underside, sun ray ribbons, and a soft tiger tail. A large soft giraffe sits at the bottom of the rainbow arch and has two points on which to link toys for baby. Mom can also link the toys to any of three link points on the mat as well as to any of five link points overhead for a total of 11 places to link toys for baby. Mom can choose between three modes of play: Baby mode allows baby's play time movements to set off eight to 12 seconds of lights and music. Music mode plays music for 20 minutes while baby plays. Rainforest mode plays 20 minutes of rainforest sounds while baby plays. The gym provides four songs and two sound effects sequences. Requires 2-C batteries, not included. Summary: Favorite baby toy
Comment: This play mat is fabulous. My daughter has been playing on it since she was two weeks old and would watch me jingle the elephant rattle and swat around near it. Now at four months, she has played on this every day. She recently figured out the mode where you have to continue hitting and kicking things to keep the music going and was immensely proud of herself. She will even entertain herself on it while I make my breakfast in the morning for twenty minutes. We also use it for tummy time when she loves reaching for the crinkle leaf and watching her reflection in the mirror. This mat has been a better buy for us than the swing or bouncy seat in terms of our daughter's enjoyment. We added a couple of Lamaze toys and switch them out every once in a while to keep things fresh. My only complaint is that I have never heard of a giraffe living in the rainforest, but I don't think my infant has noticed (lol).

Comment: We bought this for my son when he was 3 months old. He LOVES it. He plays with this quite a few times a day. My only complaint is that it is really hard to store away. It doesn't fold up to the way it was when I got it. Other than that,it was worth every penny. The toys are great attention grabbers for a baby.

Summary: The best baby toy we have
Comment: My 8-month-old been loving this jungle gym since he was 6 weeks old. He reached so many milestones on this mat: He started out watching the lights, then batting at the toys, then grabbing them and pulling them to his mouth, then rolling over to play with the zebra tail, crawling over to the crinkly leaf and now uses the bars to pull himself to standing (though it is not designed for this - I hang onto him so his weight's not on it). We've replaced the batteries only twice. I recommend it to all of my friends, it's just been hours and hours and hours of fun for him.

Summary: great for baby's development
Comment: Got the Gym for my baby girl when she was 4 months old. Since then she went through several stages, like playing on her back, in the rubber sit, playing while sitting without support and crawling and this Gym still attracts her attention and she tends to spend time of her own there inspecting toys and lights. Now she even tries to pull herself up and play with the switch. Very recommended. A lot to discover for a baby. All it takes is to move it around and it seems to her like a brand new toy and the game starts all over again.
