Customer Rating: Summary: It's All Hits Comment: I listened to Journey when I was younger and I admit like other music from my youth I still enjoy them. Perhaps they were a bit poppy and perhaps people consider them too '80s' like some here, but they wrote great catchy songs.
I had not listened to them in quite awhile except for occassionaly cathing them on the radio, but when Tony Soprano heard this song in the infamous (famous?) episode I wanted to find an album that covered what I remembered and this record is it. Of course there is "Don't Stop Believin'" and others.
A couple of the songs are just okay (never did care much for "Faithfully") but it is more than made up with with "Wheel In The Sky", "Who's Crying Now" and my favorite "Seperate Ways."
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent CD! Comment: The CD arrived absolutely perfect and on time. This is a "must have" CD for any true Journey fan! Customer Rating: Summary: journey Comment: Love this cd. It's the best ever for Journey fans out there. All the best songs are on here. Buy it now, you'll be happy you did. Customer Rating: Summary: Awsome collection of hits! Comment: I know there are some of you out there that probably either 1. are not sure if you really like Journey or 2. are torn between the different era's. If you look at my reviews you will find that I am one of those people who has gone retro. I have purchased Journey from the years that really appealed to me. With that said this is a very complete compilation that spans several of their very best years. To that end, a couple of songs that are missing that are personal favorites for me are, stone in love, still they ride, and mother father. If those 3 were on there this would probably be the perfect journey cd. But for those of you riding the fence, do I or do I not want? by this one, from there you can span out and venture to the older cd's and then move to the later offerings. But in my opinion this is a great place to start. Customer Rating: Summary: Oldie but Goodie Comment: This CD brought me back to my "skating rink" days. I absolutely love listening to this while I am working it is very relaxing. This genra of music...I believe I'm going to keep adding to my collection.
