Customer Rating: Summary: Poof! Comment: I thought this product would be great for vacation in Key West in the middle of July. For the most part, it worked. What was kind of frustrating was when I went swimming. I got into the pool and when I looked at the water there was all my sunscreen. It was just a big cloud of powder around me and it was a little embarassing.
I think it probably gets messy when you carry it around with you, because that means its constantly being shaken - which is what causes the powder to dispense into the brush. So that when you finally do open it, there's way more product in the brush than you need to apply. Customer Rating: Summary: great Comment: While the powder sometimes poofs out in a great cloud, mostly it is the easiest to use sunscreen ever. Clear and matte with instant application anywhere. Far removed from the greasy face sunscreen we're used to! Customer Rating: Summary: Instant Winner!!! Comment: To be fair I've only been using this product for a few days... that why I'm giving it 4 stars now...I will update this review in a week or so, but so far I already love it. Unlike your conventional lotion SPF, you don't have to wait the recommended 10-20 minutes before going out into the sun. That's important because this is one of the last things you do after showering and dressing. I have combination skin...this keeps my oil parts looking drier...while not aggravating my dry parts. Probably, the most important thing you look for in a sun block, aside from sun protection, is something that doesn't break you out...this has been for me the most disappointing thing about the sun blocks in the past...this hasn't broken me out yet. Additionally, as a brown-skinned individual...I was concerned that the powder would leave an ashy residue...it didn't, its completely undetectable. My only caveat to this product is that if you require and SPF higher than 30, i.e. super fair skin super sunny environment...this product may not be for you...unless you use it in conjunction w/ hats and proper clothing. Customer Rating: Summary: Easiest Sunscreen ever Comment: This is the best sunscreen ever. I keep one in my purse and one in the car so that I am never without it. It is great for those times was you are suddenly in the sun and forgot to put sunscreen on. You can put it right over make-up and when you are hot and sticky it is much easier to put on than a cream. I try to remember to brush it on my hands when I am driving to prevent those dreaded age spots! Customer Rating: Summary: Not the coverage and protection I was expecting Comment: I have very fair skin that burns very easily. I bought this sunscreen because I like the idea that it is a powder and won't make my skin greasy. I went to a Renaissance Faire and took this with me. I liberly applied this often, about every half hour or so. I still got burned. I will say that although it says it is translucent, the foundation color is actually a bit too dark for my skin tone. I would have preferred if it was actually colorless. I gave it two stars because I liked how it made my skin matte and it is a very silky powder and didn't feel like it was drying out my skin. But unfortunately it didn't work for me and still caused my skin to burn.
