Comment: This product definitely helps. When gas started becoming an intolerable problem, I used a colon cleansing program first (colonix), which helped but didn't eliminate the problem, then I found this product. This product substantially reduced the gas. But not completely: I thought maybe I could go ahead eat anything again, and found that I could not. If I avoid certain foods and use this product, I find that the gas is almost completely gone, or is at an acceptable level. The reason for the gas is that certain foods do not digest well, and then they ferment while sitting in the colon, producing gas. This product helps to break down this food material so that it does not produce gas. In addition to taking this product, when I do eat certain foods that cause gas, I try to take beano in advance, then afterward I take extra fiber, like metamucil, and a natural gentle laxative, like senokot, and the offending material is quickly passed, thus minimizing gas. Summary: For Me, this one's a Dud.
Comment: First off, let me say that I owe Ganeden (makers of the Digestive Advantage products) a HUGE debt of gratitude for what one of their other product -- Digestive Advantage for IBS -- has done for me. That product truly is a miracle, and I hope it continues to be available for the rest of my life. (See my review on it.)

However, 'this' product really didn't seem to do anything for me. The gas remained. BAD gas. SMELLY gas.

Here's what worked: 1. Lemon juice. Have some before eating, and it creates a nice acid environment in the stomach. Really cuts down on gas, big time. 2. Another product called DEVROM, also available here on Amazon. It will deoderize your, um, emissions. :)
