Summary: A tasty snack if you like dates
Comment: I love dates and was pleased to be able to order them from Amazon because they are not always available in my local store.

I agree with some of the others that many of the dates are too dried out, I'd say about half of them are like that. You also need to be mindful that you'll run across an occasional pit or partial pit.

For the most part they are a tasty snack and much healthier than candy and I'll continue to order them, but I do think the quality control could be a bit better.

Comment: You can save a lot of money and time (think of the gas you'll save!) buying these dates from amazon. I would recommend them; I enjoy using them in recipes and eating them one by one! One downside is that not every date is perfectly moist, but that is to be expected I would think. Also, not every pit is removed, which is a real pain, but just be careful biting into them.

Comment: I was very disappointed with the quality of these dates. Considering the Sun Maid Brand, I never expected the dates to be dried out and not moist to eat. They skins were brutal to chew, and I felt like gagging with every bite. The Dates tasted like they were very old, although there was a year or more to go before the expiration date. I wouldn't eat these again if I got them for free.
