Customer Rating: Summary: Use caution buying this item Comment: Just a tip to use caution when buying this item. Many of these sellers are ofering the older model, Version 2, discontinued in October 2007 due to many problems. You want Version 3, model numbers 044435 and 044437. If it has no lanyard and clip and has the smaller case, it's the older model that had a lot of problems.
Note the older version two model also had the white and black wires.
Buyer Beware! Customer Rating: Summary: Initially unimpressed...until Comment: I use these for my iPod. I was immediately underwhelmed and buyers remorse set in right away. I walked around for at least half a day trying to convince myself that these really did sound better than the $24 Sony phones, which they did. It occured to me to try the larger earpads that were part of the packageing. What a world of difference. I still think they are ten to twenty dollars more than they should be, but I can not say that I am unhappy with the sound. There is depth to the music now, a soundstage that was not there with other earphones, even the Creative Aurvana I once owned did not provide the "soundstage" these phones do. I know there is better out there, for now, these provide that feeling I used to have when I was a teenager, that music is candy to the ears. Customer Rating: Summary: As good as everyone says Comment: I'll make this short and sweet -- they're as good as everyone says, yes, the bass is amazing...
My two cents is also just to add in that I've now had them for a year, and they're still as great as ever. I also am too lazy to put them into the carrying case that comes with them, so even with being a lot more exposed to whatever other items are in my pocket/backpack/etc, they have held up remarkably well.
If you want in-ear headphones...don't waste your money on anything else. Customer Rating: Summary: Bose In-Ear Headphones Comment: The Bose TriPort IN-Ear Headphones are the best I've tried with my iPod. The sound quality is great and full. The silicone adaptors hold the phones securely in the ears; they never get dislodged whether walking briskly or jogging. The sound quality, and fit in the ears, is infinitely better than the original iPod buds, or Sony earbuds I tried, both of which tend to fall out with any head movement. A superb product- highly recommended! Customer Rating: Summary: These are the worst headphones imaginable. Disappointed with BOSE Comment: The phones fall out of the ear. The rubber cover will likely fall off a few times and get lost. They don't block outside sound whatsoever. I guess if you are in a silent room, sitting snug on the couch not moving a muscle, these are the phones for you.
