Summary: One of my favorite snacks
Comment: I munch on these suckers all the time, and they're not all that easy to find. The wasabi flavor is subtle, but adds a nice kick. Plus almonds are full of fiber and are always suggested as a healthy alternative when you want crunchy snacks. Having these small 1.5 oz packets that I can carry with me to class, meetings, work, etc is a wonderful thing.

Summary: The best flavored almonds by Blue Diamond--yum!
Comment: I've tried smokehouse, jalapeno smokehouse, honey roast, lime and chili, and natural. But these are really the best of the lot I've tried. They have the nice fresh-tasting almonds you expect from Blue Diamond, and you can actually taste the wasabi (unlike the jalapeno smokehouse, where the jalapeno part is really elusive).

I was reluctant at first to try this. Didn't think I'd like it. I was wrong. Terrific snack almonds (if you don't mind saltiness). Love em.

Comment: I wanted to try and eat healthier snacks and saw these flavored almonds at a local store! Wow! What a great combination of flavors, not too hot but just a little burst of flavor/spice when you first bite down! They were great! They have other flavors described as "bold" but this is my favorite!

Comment: A gutsy little almond, with a hint of sass and a sweet finish....

Okay. Maybe not. 2 stars for one reason -- there's something just the tiniest bit chemical about the wasabi. I'm a big fan of wasabi when it comes to sushi -- but it's hard to find other arenas where that goodness transfers with such success. I really enjoy all the other "bold" flavors, and though this is the only one with any real bite to it -- the successful boldness is not matched by a successful wasabi flavor.

But then again, my sushi-loving son swears by these almonds. Maybe it's just my taste buds.
