Comment: This is the best written Amazon Shorts I've read so far, not only in terms of basic writing skills (surprisingly lacking in many Shorts I've read), but in the soulful revelation of the story. The characters live and breathe; the delicious morsels of their insightful wit pepper the story. No matter what your persuasion, everyone can relate to the relationship angst of Dear Joan.

Anyone who has ever been in love, or thought they were, and decided to give this twosome-thing a try...

...can relate to standing in a state of utter frustration and despair in their lover's kitchen/bedroom/bathroom/whatever room at some ungodly hour in the early morning as their mind...

...wrestles with their heart and their hormones in a battle that will, ultimately, determine the outcome of their love life. "Dear Joan" is a witty, honest look at two people whose paths crossed and must now decide if they should continue on together or if they should part ways before what was once love/lust turns to hate/disgust.
