Editorial Review:
“Dear Joan” is a short story telling the age old, long story of two utterly incompatible lovers striving, always striving, to come together and yet pull apart. (It is the first in a projected series regarding this couple.)

Customer Rating: Summary: Refreshing... Comment: This is the best written Amazon Shorts I've read so far, not only in terms of basic writing skills (surprisingly lacking in many Shorts I've read), but in the soulful revelation of the story. The characters live and breathe; the delicious morsels of their insightful wit pepper the story. No matter what your persuasion, everyone can relate to the relationship angst of Dear Joan. Customer Rating: Summary: you gotta love those deep, emotional, pre-dawn discussions...! Comment: "Dear Joan,

...wrestles with their heart and their hormones in a battle that will, ultimately, determine the outcome of their love life. "Dear Joan" is a witty, honest look at two people whose paths crossed and must now decide if they should continue on together or if they should part ways before what was once love/lust turns to hate/disgust.
I anxiously await the next instalment in the series, "Another Dear Joan", from Ms. Saint Marie. The Secret Keeping
