Comment: I am quite well-pleased with this counting jar. (I had it in mind to give to my granddaughter, but she's too young yet.) But I'm thoroughly enjoying it! Besides the accurate sensing of the coin and accurate arithmetic, it keeps the coins all in one place and dust-free--no more scattered, fuzzy, cat-hair encusted gold doubloons for me! And it holds up to $[...]. I came to understand that the lid knows which denomination you're putting in the slot because of the sliding armature (or whatever the terms is); i.e., the coin can only push the arm the length of its diameter. That's about as technical as I can get. Enjoy!
