Summary: great for treats
Comment: My dogs love their chicken jerkys. They are chicken only with the exception of added vitamin A, vitamin E and flaxseed. No hormones, no antibiotics, no additives, no fillers, etc.

Summary: Dogswell Chicken Strips
Comment: Great product! Our dogs absolutely love them and they get anxious at that time of morning "expecting" them. All natural and healthy. A great treat. You can even pull apart a strip (for smaller portions) and use them for training. Much better than little doggie biscuits. Very reasonable price on Amazon as well, compared to the pet food stores. Shipping isn't cheap, but if you have a number of dogs you can buy more at once. Cost averaging helps bring the unit price down even more. Only one or two dogs? Split an order with a friend and enjoy the savings!

Summary: quality control
Comment: I was finding these treats not as crunchy as when I first started giving them to my dog. They now are very 'chewy' and hard to break apart. Could there be a reason for this? I've found a similar item - crunchier and cheaper - I'll go with that.

Summary: Oh No....China?
Comment: Today, I was online ordering "Dogswell Vitality Chicken Breast Treats" and just discovered, thanks to a previous reveiwer, that this product is made in China. I thought this product was made in California and did not see the tiny "made in china" print on back of the bag at the very bottom lower right-hand corner.

I've been using this product for some time now and it is one of the few treats that my dog will actually eat and not get sick. Hence the "3 star rating". However, I am NOW very hesitant to order this product and may resort to making my own treats...

I concur with the previous reviewer. If Dogswell could manufacture these treats in the U.S., I would continue to use this product. Unfortunately, I am very uncomfortble with the fact that it is made in China. It's just not worth risking my pet's health.

Summary: Made in China - but has been evaluated by a lab
Comment: I have had dogs all my life. I used to only give dog food & table scraps for years. I noticed with a poor human diet of my family & dog food they died early and/or had many issues.
We had one dog that would not eat dog biscuits of any kind if made with grains & would rather starve then eat kibble. If fed canned dog food w/grains he was lethargic & had bad gas. That is when realized dogs cannot digest grains.
Our dog now within a year of his birth was very lethergic, moody, depressed & seemed to have arthritis even on no grain kibble. Within a month of given only rice added dog food he was more energetic & no more arthritis. He still had a little issue with rice, so we find very simple dog food or rarely give it to him & give him human grade canned or refrigerated pre-cooked meat with frozen veggies, pre-cooked eggs & olive oil for fat for shiny coat.
With the China scare I was not worried much since he ate mostly human grade food & the dog food I choose I read the labels for the most quality ingredients.
When I read these reviews, I admit since I've used this product for 2 years w/o issues on a sensitive dog, I never checked the origin like I do when debating new dog food products. I checked the internet & this product was never on the recall list & they had their product analyzed by a lab very soon after the massive recall to prove they were safe. (Do a search.)
Considering almost all dog products have grains, there are soooo many dog "cookies" it's very hard to find simple meat treats w/nothing added.
