For Celtic Thunder, Sharon Browne has teamed up with Grammy-nominated Irish songwriting and composing veteran Phil Coulter to produce a show that includes an eclectic mix of songs ranging from the traditional "Mountains of Mourne" and "Come By the Hills" to international hits such as "Brothers in Arms" and "Desperado," as well as original compositions by Coulter, who has written hits for Elvis Presley ("My Boy") and the Bay City Rollers, and performed with Van Morrison, Tom Jones, and the Rolling Stones. The ensemble numbers in Celtic Thunder reflect the power of the vocalists, who range in age from 14 to 40, and feature songs that celebrate a common Celtic heritage.

Comment: WATCHED THIS SHOW ON LOCAL TV STATION (PBS). IT WAS WONDERFUL AND KNOWING MY HUSBAND LOVES IRISH MUSIC, I BOUGHT THE CD FOR HIM AS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT. HE DID NOT SEE THE SHOW AND I KNOW HE WILL BE THRILLED ON CHRISTMAS DAY WHEN HE RECIEVES IT.

Comment: New talent and different ages within a group blended in a new way -- all the singers stand alone and are fabulous together. Stirring renditions of both old and new, with fresh new faces. Stunning cameo talent and rhythm that strikes deep. Don't need a drop of Celtic blood to really enjoy this DVD. Boy'o, these feet were movin'!

Comment: Celtic Thunder is absoulutely THE BEST concert we have ever seen. We have viewed it at least 10 times with our friends. We are always sorry when it ends, and wish it would go on and on. Our friends all loved it too and most have ordered a copy for themselves.
